Monkey.D.Luffy

The Monkey D. Luffy card, designated OP11-118, originates from the 'A Fist of Divine Speed' expansion of the One Piece Card Game. Released as part of the eleventh main set in the series, the card was designed to reflect pivotal moments in the narrative, utilizing the franchise's iconic art style to capture Luffy’s high-energy combat techniques. The set focuses on elevating the mechanical depth of the game by introducing new character interactions that mirror the escalating power levels seen in the manga and anime.

This specific card was illustrated by artists working within the Toei Animation and Bandai production pipeline, who aimed to maintain visual consistency with Eiichiro Oda’s character designs while adapting them for a trading card format. The reception of cards from this set has been largely positive among collectors and competitive players, who frequently praise the card’s dynamic framing and the strategic utility it brings to red-aligned deck archetypes.
