Compulsory Evacuation Device

Compulsory Evacuation Device was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a foundational trap card, designed to provide players with a simple yet effective method of disrupting their opponent's strategy by returning a monster to the hand. Its design reflects the early philosophy of the game where resource management and board control were centered around single-card interactions. By forcing a monster back to the owner's hand, it effectively removed a threat while also bypassing graveyard-based protection effects.

The Duelist League 2010 version, marked as DL09-EN019, was issued as part of a recurring participation series meant to encourage local competitive play and community engagement. These rare-rarity cards were distributed as promotional rewards at official store tournaments. This specific printing is recognized for its unique silver-lettering style common to the Duelist League sets, offering collectors a distinct aesthetic variation of a staple card that has remained relevant across multiple meta-game shifts throughout the years.
