Mirror Force

Mirror Force was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the early Metal Raiders expansion. Designed as a powerful defensive trap card, its primary utility is to counter aggressive attacks by destroying all of the opponent's face-up attack-position monsters. The card’s iconic illustration, featuring a magical barrier reflecting incoming projectiles, became a hallmark of the game's early strategic identity and remains one of the most recognizable pieces of card art in the franchise's history.

The specific version numbered YS15-ENF21 was released as part of the Saber Force Starter Deck in 2015. This deck was designed to introduce newer players to the mechanics of Synchro Summoning and light-attribute monster synergy. By including Mirror Force in this pre-constructed set, the publishers maintained the card's accessibility as a foundational staple, ensuring that players learning the game had access to reliable board control options while navigating the evolving meta of the mid-2010s.
