Naze Nani Dendrogram

Naze Nani Dendrogram is a short-form original net animation released in 2018 as a companion piece to the Infinite Dendrogram light novel and anime franchise. Produced by NAZ, the series of episodes serves as a lighthearted, supplemental explainer for the complex virtual reality mechanics featured in the primary storyline. These vignettes were created to introduce viewers to the intricate world-building of the series while maintaining a whimsical tone that contrasts with the more intense action of the main narrative.

The animation features simplified character designs meant to facilitate comedic timing and rapid-fire explanations. By distilling the dense technical aspects of the Dendrogram game world into digestible, humorous segments, the staff aimed to foster a deeper engagement with the lore for new fans. The production reflects the common industry practice of utilizing short-form web content to maintain audience interest in a franchise between major seasonal releases.
