At some point, somewhere in outer space, the small planet Kumalia exploded. As the particles of what used to be Kumalia showered upon Earth as a meteor shower, for some reason all the bears on earth stood up to attack humanity! In due time, a great "Wall of Extinction" was built between humans and bears, and they could no longer show aggression towards one another... One morning, Kureha Tsubasa and Sumika Izumino were alone watching lily flowers blooming. Just then, a Bear Warning pierces loudly through the air! Mystery brings on more mysteries, a series of one raging blow after another!

Where it came from
Yurikuma Arashi, released in 2015, is an original anime television series directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara and produced by the studio SILVER LINK. Known for his distinctive avant-garde style, Ikuhara crafted the series as a surrealist exploration of social ostracization and the politics of love, using the recurring motif of man-eating bears to symbolize the fears and desires of his characters.
The series is noted for its highly stylized visual language, drawing on the aesthetics of shoujo manga and theatrical symbolism to convey complex themes of prejudice and identity. While its abstract narrative and dense layering of metaphors polarized viewers during its initial broadcast, it remains a significant entry in modern anime for its refusal to adhere to conventional storytelling tropes.
