Where it came from
Taylormaid was released in 2012 on the independent label Beyond The Moon Records. The album emerged during a period of prolific output for Rosemarie Taylor, serving as a reflective showcase of her singer-songwriter sensibilities. It was produced with a focus on intimate acoustic arrangements intended to highlight the emotional nuance of her lyrical compositions.
The album's visual identity and design were crafted to mirror the personal nature of the tracks, utilizing understated photography that emphasized authenticity over commercial polish. While the record remained an independent production, it was well-regarded within the niche folk and singer-songwriter communities of the time for its consistency and the clarity of Taylor’s vocal performances.
