Guardians of the Galaxy #21

Guardians of the Galaxy #21, published in January 2015, serves as a pivotal chapter in the series written by Brian Michael Bendis. This issue is part of a broader narrative arc within the Marvel Universe that sought to bridge the gap between the cosmic adventures of the characters and their mainstream recognition following the success of the 2014 feature film. The series was designed to maintain a tone that balanced irreverent humor with high-stakes space opera, catering to both long-time comic readers and new fans drawn in by the cinematic iteration of the team.

The interior artwork for this issue was provided by Valerio Schiti, whose dynamic style became a staple of the title during this era. Schiti's visual approach was characterized by fluid action sequences and expressive character designs that emphasized the distinct personalities within the eclectic team. The issue was generally received as a functional installment in a long-running saga, noted by critics for its ability to juggle multiple narrative threads while keeping the pacing consistent with the established style of the Bendis run.
