Lupo Alberto Collection #20

Lupo Alberto, created by Guido Silvestri under the pseudonym Silver, began as a comic strip in 1974. The character, a blue wolf living on the McKenzie Farm, became a cultural staple in Italy for its blend of satire and lighthearted storytelling. The Lupo Alberto Collection series was established to reprint these classic strips in a structured format, allowing new and long-time readers to follow the evolving dynamics between Alberto, his girlfriend Marta the hen, and the farm dog Moses.

Issue #20 continues the series' focus on preserving the longevity of Silver’s distinct artistic style. Silver’s design choices, characterized by clean lines and expressive character animation, were influenced by the tradition of classic newspaper comics while maintaining a unique personality that resonated with Italian audiences. The series was well-received as a reliable archive of the character's journey, maintaining the charm that solidified Lupo Alberto as one of Italy's most recognized comic figures.
