Oltretomba Collezione #52

Oltretomba Collezione was a long-running Italian fumetti neri series published by Edizioni ErreGì during the late 1960s and 1970s. These pocket-sized, black-and-white horror comics were a hallmark of the era's counter-culture pulp scene, capitalizing on the popularity of dark, transgressive storytelling that pushed the boundaries of morality and social norms in post-war Italy.

Issue number 52, like many in the series, features a blend of gothic horror and eroticized suspense. The design followed the standardized format of the time: high-contrast ink illustrations, anonymous or pseudonym-heavy creative teams, and a focus on shock value to engage readers at newsstands. While the series was often dismissed by critics as low-brow exploitation, it is now recognized as a significant piece of Italian pop culture history that reflects the stylistic anxieties of its period.
