The Ice Guy & the Cool Girl #9

The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, known in Japan as Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi, is a manga series created by Miyuki Tonogaya. Originally debuting as a short social media project in 2018, the series follows the developing relationship between Himuro, a descendant of the snow spirit, and his composed coworker Fuyutsuki. The ninth volume continues the established domestic comedy tone of the series, focusing on the subtle office interactions and blossoming romance that define the franchise's slow-burn narrative style.

The series design is characterized by Tonogaya’s clean, minimalist aesthetic and gentle character expressions, which emphasize the soft-hearted nature of the supernatural protagonists. As the series progressed into its ninth volume, it garnered positive attention for its comforting tone, often described by readers as a quintessential iyashikei, or 'healing,' work. The release reflects the transition of the web-based project into a staple of modern workplace romantic comedies, maintaining the visual consistency and thematic warmth that first brought the series its initial digital following.
