Where it came from
Lockjaw was released by Funko as part of the Pop! Marvel line, assigned the number 257 in the series. The figure represents the giant, teleporting bulldog who serves as the loyal companion to the Inhuman Royal Family. His inclusion in the collection followed the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's reach into television with the 2017 Inhumans series, which brought the obscure comic book character to a broader mainstream audience.
The design of the figure captures the character's distinctively large, bulldog-like appearance and his iconic golden tuning-fork antenna mounted on his forehead. Funko's design team focused on translating the creature's massive physique into the signature stylized aesthetic of the Pop! line, featuring the characteristic oversized head and simplified, smooth features. Upon its release, the figure was primarily marketed to fans of Marvel comics and collectors of the expansive Inhumans mythos.
