Where it came from
Lockjaw was released by Funko as part of the Pop! Marvel series, designated as figure number 257, to coincide with the introduction of the Inhumans to a broader television audience. The character, a giant, teleporting bulldog with a tuning fork on his head, serves as the loyal companion and protector of the Inhuman Royal Family, and this specific iteration features a flocked texture to mimic the appearance of real fur.
The design follows the standard Pop! aesthetic, characterized by a large, oversized head and simplified, stylized facial features. The decision to use a flocked finish was intended to add a tactile, premium feel to the figure, distinguishing it from standard vinyl releases. The figure was well-received by fans of the Marvel comics, who appreciated the attention to detail in replicating the character's unique anatomy and expression.
