Where it came from
The Funko Pop! Pez line emerged as a hybrid collectible, merging the iconic stylized aesthetic of Funko's vinyl figures with the nostalgic, functional tradition of Pez candy dispensers. This specific release features Logan, the character famously known as Wolverine from Marvel's X-Men, reimagined with the signature oversized head and simplified features characteristic of the Pop! design language. It was developed to appeal to both modern vinyl collectors and long-term fans of the long-standing Pez brand.
The design draws directly from the classic yellow-and-blue costumed appearance of Wolverine, a staple of the character's comic book history. Like others in the series, the piece serves as both a display item and a functioning dispenser, reflecting the dual-purpose nature of the Pop! Pez crossover collection. Upon release, it was met with interest from collectors who specifically track the numbered series, as these figures are systematically cataloged by Funko to encourage completionist habits within the fan community.
