Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney line, this figure depicts Sally from Tim Burton's 1993 stop-motion classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. As pop culture collectibles gained traction in the early 2010s, Funko expanded its offerings to include iconic animated characters, aiming to capture the unique, gothic aesthetic of the film's source material through their signature stylized vinyl form.
The figure features Sally's distinctive patchwork dress and stitches, designed to translate the complex character art of the film into the minimalist proportions characteristic of the Pop! series. Upon its release, it became a staple for fans of the franchise, reflecting the enduring appeal of the film and its long-standing presence in Disney's merchandising catalog.
