Where it came from
Sally, the ragdoll creation of Dr. Finkelstein from Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, was immortalized in Funko’s Pop! Disney line as figure number 1358. This specific iteration was released as part of an ongoing effort to update the character’s presence in the Pop! catalog, reflecting the enduring cultural impact of the film’s distinctive gothic-whimsical aesthetic.
The figure design prioritizes the signature Funko aesthetic—a stylized, oversized head and minimalist features—while capturing Sally's patchwork skin and iconic dress pattern. Like much of the Pop! Disney series, it was crafted for collectors who gravitate toward the tactile nature of vinyl figures. The design aims to balance the character's melancholic charm with the clean, recognizable lines that define the Pop! brand’s visual identity.
