Snail Lisa

The Snail Lisa figure, part of the Pop! Television line as number 1261, was released as a special edition tie-in to the long-running Simpsons Halloween anthology episodes, the Treehouse of Horror. The design is derived from the 'Stop the World, I Want to Goof Off' segment in the 2011 special, where Lisa Simpson is transformed into a snail as a consequence of Bart and Milhouse’s misuse of a time-stopping stopwatch. It serves as a niche collectible for fans who appreciate the show's dark humor and the surreal visual mutations depicted throughout the franchise’s history.

Funko’s creative team designed this piece to capture the specific aesthetic of the episode, featuring Lisa’s iconic hairstyle and dress integrated into the shell-bound snail body. The design choice leans heavily into the macabre, lighthearted tone typical of the Treehouse of Horror specials. Upon its release, the figure was met with interest primarily from established Simpsons collectors and those who enjoy Funko’s more experimental or genre-bending interpretations of familiar pop culture characters.
