Aspect of Wolf

The Aspect of Wolf card originated from the 1994 Summer Magic expansion, often referred to as Edgar. This set was produced by Wizards of the Coast as a corrected reprint of the Revised Edition, designed to resolve various printing errors and color balance issues found in the earlier run. While intended for wide distribution, the set was largely sidelined and eventually liquidated as a single bulk release, making its individual components distinct artifacts of a transitional period in the company's early logistical history.

The card’s artwork, featuring a distinct, ethereal depiction of the creature, carries the aesthetic hallmarks of the mid-1990s Magic: The Gathering era. The design sought to visually convey the enchantment’s thematic connection to primal strength and predatory instinct. As part of the Summer Magic set, the card remains notable for its rare status among collectors who specifically seek out the unique print characteristics and the anomalous history of this ephemeral expansion.
