Drudge Skeletons

Drudge Skeletons was originally printed in the 1994 Magic: The Gathering 'Summer Magic' set, an extremely limited release intended to correct errors found in the earlier Revised Edition. Produced by Wizards of the Coast, this set is colloquially known as Edgar due to an internal code, and it remains one of the most elusive printings in the game's history because the vast majority of the inventory was recalled and destroyed shortly after production.

The card features artwork by Dan Frazier, who contributed extensively to the early visual identity of the game. His illustration for this black-mana creature captures the grim, gothic aesthetic central to early Magic designs. While the mechanical stats of the card were standard for the era, its scarcity within the Summer Magic set has transformed it from a common gameplay element into a significant artifact for historical collectors.
