El-Hajjâj

El-Hajjâj was released in the 1994 Summer Magic expansion, a special edition set intended to address the extreme scarcity of the original Magic: The Gathering sets. Known colloquially as 'Edgar' among internal staff, this set was printed in a limited run for distribution primarily in the European market. It served as a reprint vehicle for many cards from the Revised Edition, yet it is distinguished by a slightly different color saturation and the distinct white-bordered aesthetic characteristic of early Wizards of the Coast sets.

The card features artwork by Christopher Rush, one of the most prolific and iconic illustrators in the game's early history.
