Glen Elendra

Glen Elendra was introduced in the 2012 Planechase expansion for Magic: The Gathering, a set designed to simulate planar travel across the multiverse. As a plane card, it represents the tranquil yet eerie woodland home of the fae, serving as a backdrop that alters the rules of play by providing a protective sanctuary for creatures through its persistent ability to put +1/+1 counters on those that enter the battlefield.

The artwork was commissioned from Omar Rayyan, an artist renowned for his distinctively whimsical and classic illustrative style. Rayyan chose to depict the plane as a lush, sun-dappled grove that feels both welcoming and subtly otherworldly, grounding the card in a sense of fairy-tale antiquity.
