What it does
Don't try to outrun one of Dominia's Grizzlies; it'll catch you, knock you down, and eat you. Of course, you could run up a tree. In that case you'll get a nice view before it knocks the tree down and eats you.

Where it came from
The Grizzly Bears card was released as part of the Summer Magic set, famously known by collectors as the Edgar set. Distributed in 1994, this set was an experimental repackaging of the Revised Edition of Magic: The Gathering, intended for sale in department stores. It is distinguished from the standard print run by its unique, vibrant saturation of color and the distinct Edgar printer test-run markings, which have made the set a sought-after curiosity for players and historians of the game.
The artwork for Grizzly Bears remains an iconic example of early fantasy illustration within the trading card game. Created by artist Jeff A. Menges, the illustration captures the straightforward, aggressive nature of the creature, a hallmark of the game's initial aesthetic. Menges’ contribution to the early sets helped define the visual language of the franchise, and the Grizzly Bears card specifically became a quintessential example of 'vanilla' creature design, balancing simplistic mechanics with evocative, classic monster tropes that helped ease new players into the game.
