Karox Bladewing

Karox Bladewing is a token creature card released in the 2023 set Commander Masters as part of the Starter Commander Deck line. Specifically, this token is associated with the Enduring Enchantments deck, which focuses on enchantment-themed synergy and creature recursion. The design follows the established aesthetic of contemporary Magic: The Gathering tokens, prioritizing clear visual indicators of the creature's power, toughness, and flight ability to maintain smooth gameplay for players during fast-paced Commander matches.

The art and layout for these tokens were commissioned by Wizards of the Coast to support the specific mechanical output of the deck's Commander, Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The visual style features the high-fantasy, polished digital illustration typical of the modern era of the trading card game. Like most tokens in the game, it was designed as a utilitarian gaming accessory rather than a collectible piece of fine art, intended to be used and handled throughout the duration of a tabletop session.
