Plant

The Plant token, bearing the collector number 26 from the Modern Horizons 3 set, was released by Wizards of the Coast in June 2024. These tokens are created to represent temporary battlefield objects generated by various spells and abilities within the set, such as those produced by cards involving land manipulation or growth themes. As with all tokens in the Modern Horizons series, this card is intended to provide a functional and thematic visual reference for players during gameplay, utilizing the distinct art style established for the expansion's supplemental card pool.

The design of this token follows the contemporary aesthetic standards for Magic: The Gathering, focusing on clear, evocative imagery that distinguishes it from standard deck cards. While specific artist credits for individual tokens in this set are often aggregated within the set's broader design documentation, the artwork is commissioned to maintain consistent visual coherence with the set's high-fantasy, multiversal themes. Upon its release, the card was received as a standard utility component for players engaging with the Modern Horizons 3 draft environment and constructed formats.
