Wall of Bone

Wall of Bone was originally released in the 1994 Magic: The Gathering set titled Legends. It was later reprinted as part of the 1994 Summer Magic expansion, often referred to by the internal code name Edgar. This set was famously intended to be a corrected, limited release of the Revised Edition, but it was largely destroyed due to significant printing errors, making the surviving cards some of the rarest items in the game's history.

The artwork for the card was created by artist Dan Frazier, whose distinctive style became iconic during the game's early years. The design focuses on the macabre aesthetic prevalent in the game's initial dark fantasy period, depicting a defensive barrier of skeletal remains. At the time of its release, the card was received as a functional, if niche, defensive tool, but it has since gained a significant reputation among collectors primarily due to its scarcity within the Summer Magic printing cycle.
