Issho

The Issho card from the Royal Blood set, cataloged as OP10-023, is a character card based on the Admiral Fujitora from the long-running One Piece franchise. It was released as part of the trading card game's expansion into characters featured during the post-timeskip arcs, specifically designed to capture the moral complexity and gravity-manipulating combat style of the blind marine. The illustration emphasizes his iconic purple kimono and sheathed blade, leaning into the formal, stoic aesthetic established in the manga's Dressrosa arc.

The design of this set follows the established mechanical language of the One Piece Card Game, focusing on high-utility effects that reflect Issho's role as a character capable of manipulating the battlefield. Illustrators for the series generally aim to balance dynamic action with the clean, bold lines synonymous with Eiichiro Oda's character designs. Upon release, the card was integrated into control-oriented decks, where its ability to interact with player resources mirrored the character's strategic and often unpredictable presence in the source material.
