Where it came from
The Issho card from the Legacy of the Master expansion (OP12-082) represents a high-rarity character card within the One Piece Card Game. Released as part of the series' twelfth booster set, it captures the Admiral of the Marines, also known as Fujitora, a central antagonist-turned-antihero introduced during the Dressrosa arc. The design aesthetic follows the game's commitment to dynamic, action-oriented illustrations that reflect the character's unique gravity-manipulating powers and stoic, blind-samurai appearance.
The card was produced by Bandai to expand the strategic depth of the Purple color archetype. Illustrators working on this set aimed to emphasize the character's imposing stature and moral complexity, utilizing deep, moody color palettes typical of the Legacy of the Master series. Upon release, it was well-received by competitive players for its utility in board control, cementing its status as a sought-after piece among both tabletop tacticians and collectors of the One Piece franchise.
