Monkey.D.Luffy

The Monkey.D.Luffy card, designated ST01-012, originated from the initial launch of the One Piece Card Game in 2022. This specific card was included as a starter deck card in the Straw Hat Crew deck, which was designed to introduce players to the core mechanics of the game. The card features artwork consistent with the early aesthetic of the series, focusing on the protagonist's foundational abilities within the game's red-color-coded aggressive playstyle.

The Tournament Pack Vol. 5, in which this card is often featured or referenced in specialized card pools, serves as a promotional vehicle for competitive players. These packs are historically distributed through official organized play events to incentivize participation and reward consistency. The design direction for these promotional cards typically emphasizes reflective finishes or alternative art to distinguish them from their base-set counterparts, aiming to provide both aesthetic value for collectors and functional utility for tournament-level deck building.
