Monkey.D.Luffy

Released as part of the ST13 The Three Brothers starter deck in the One Piece Card Game, this card captures a pivotal moment in the series lore. The set was designed to celebrate the bond between Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, functioning as a narrative-driven product that centers on the formative years of the three characters. It reflects the game's broader aesthetic of using high-quality illustrations to evoke emotional resonance from the source manga.

The character design follows the established visual style of the One Piece trading card game, which leans into dynamic, full-color depictions characteristic of the anime's production quality. Upon its release, the card was integrated into decks focused on synergy between characters sharing the same lineage or background. It was received favorably by players for its thematic consistency and its role in bridging the gap between nostalgic storytelling and competitive gameplay mechanics.
