1.25 Euro (Cross of Seven Arms)

The 1.25 Euro coin from Andorra, released in 2024, is part of a specialized series of non-circulating legal tender pieces issued by the Andorran government. These coins are minted to commemorate national heritage and cultural motifs, serving as a point of interest for numismatists rather than for daily commercial transactions. The denomination itself is unique to Andorra's specific monetary agreements and domestic commemorative programs.

The design features the Cross of Seven Arms, a historic symbol tied to Andorran tradition and architectural motifs found in the Pyrenees region. The design aesthetic emphasizes clean lines and sharp relief, adhering to the standard of modern European commemorative minting. These pieces are typically produced at European mints contracted by Andorra to ensure high-quality proof or brilliant uncirculated finishes, and they are generally received as high-quality collector items that highlight the intersection of microstate sovereignty and numismatic artistry.
