Chester Cheetah [GITD]

Chester Cheetah first appeared as the official mascot for Cheetos in 1986, created by the advertising agency DDB Needham. His character, originally voiced by Joel Murray, was designed as a cool, smooth-talking predator with a penchant for the crunchy snack, serving as a clever subversion of traditional cartoon archetypes. This specific Funko Pop! figure, numbered 77 in the Ad Icons series, was introduced to commemorate the mascot's enduring presence in American pop culture.

The glow-in-the-dark variant of the Chester Cheetah figure was released as a limited edition collectible. It maintains the characteristic Funko aesthetic—a stylized head and simplified features—while applying a phosphorescent finish that activates in low light. This design choice highlights the brand's tendency to create variants that appeal specifically to niche collectors, emphasizing the visual flair often associated with Ad Icons releases.
