Eldrazi

The Eldrazi token, marked as collector number 26 in the Commander 2019 accessory set, represents the iconic, reality-warping entities from the Magic: The Gathering multiverse. These creatures were first introduced to the game's lore during the 2010 Rise of the Eldrazi set, conceptualized by Wizards of the Coast as cosmic, Lovecraftian horrors that exist in the blind eternities between planes, serving as a thematic departure from traditional fantasy tropes like dragons or goblins.

The design of this specific token was created to provide a physical representation of the colorless spawn generated by various Eldrazi-themed cards in the Commander 2019 'Faceless Menace' preconstructed deck. The artwork follows the established visual language of the Eldrazi, characterized by distorted anatomical structures, jagged edges, and a lack of traditional humanoid features, meant to evoke an unsettling sense of alien presence that remains consistent across the various iterations of these entities in the game's history.
