What it does
1 generic mana, tap: Target creature gains banding until end of turn. (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding a player controls are blocking or being blocked by a creature, that player divides that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

Where it came from
The Helm of Chatzuk is an artifact card featured in the Revised Edition of Magic: The Gathering, released in 1994. It was originally introduced in the limited Alpha and Beta sets, which served as the foundational launch for the game designed by Richard Garfield. The card's inclusion in the Revised Edition helped maintain availability for the game's rapidly expanding player base during its early years, though it remains a niche mechanical choice.
The artwork for the card was created by artist Dan Frazier, who was responsible for several iconic pieces in the game's earliest sets, including the original Mox jewels. Frazier’s illustration style focused on high-fantasy imagery, aiming to evoke a sense of ancient, magical relics. While the card is often noted by players for its specific ability to grant a creature the band ability, it is generally regarded as a lower-tier mechanical inclusion within the broader context of the set's power level.
