What it does
Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
Suspend 2—green mana (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay green mana and exile it with two time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, you may cast it without paying its mana cost.)

Where it came from
Search for Tomorrow was originally released in the 2006 Time Spiral set, designed to evoke the flavor of Dominaria’s prehistoric and early eras. As a card that allows a player to suspend it for a later payoff or cast it early for ramp, it became a staple of the green color identity in Magic: The Gathering. The design focuses on the theme of mana acceleration and long-term planning, reflecting the slow, deliberate buildup of resources.
The version included in the Dominaria United Commander set, numbered 137, features updated frame treatments consistent with the modern release. This specific printing was included to provide players with a reliable utility card that fits the high-mana-curve requirements of the Commander format. It remains a functional piece of cardboard history, valued for its mechanical efficiency rather than its specific art variant.
