What it does
Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
Suspend 2—green mana (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay green mana and exile it with two time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, you may cast it without paying its mana cost.)
The future created by the Maestro was far from perfect.

Where it came from
Search for Tomorrow was originally released in the Time Spiral expansion of Magic: The Gathering in 2006, designed as an efficient way to ramp mana by suspending the card early in a game. It became a staple in various formats for its flexibility, allowing players to play it for a low cost early or wait for a delayed, more powerful effect.
This specific iteration appeared in the Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves drop in 2023. The card features unique art by Magali Villeneuve that leans into the high-fantasy aesthetic of the film, capturing the character Doric. The design choice reflects the collaboration between Wizards of the Coast and the cinematic team, aiming to integrate the film's visual identity directly into the mechanical landscape of the trading card game.
