Swords to Plowshares

Swords to Plowshares was released in 1993 as part of Limited Edition Beta, the second printing of the Magic: The Gathering base set. Designed by Richard Garfield and published by Wizards of the Coast, the card was intended to provide white with a powerful, efficient removal tool. The artwork for this version was provided by Jeff A. Menges, who contributed extensively to the early aesthetics of the game.
