What it does
Activated abilities of creatures you control cost 2 generic mana less to activate. This effect can't reduce the mana in that cost to less than one mana.
For those who survived, being prepared for the next crisis became one of the greatest virtues.

Where it came from
Training Grounds was originally released in the 2010 expansion Rise of the Eldrazi as an enchantment designed to reduce the activation costs of activated abilities of creatures. Its design, attributed to the Wizards of the Coast development team, sought to create a powerful engine for decks built around creatures with repeatable effects, effectively shifting the economy of gameplay by allowing players to utilize those abilities more frequently than typical mana curves would allow.
The version from March of the Machine: The Aftermath Promos, numbered 9p, represents a reprint featured within a small-scale set designed to bridge the narrative gap between major expansions. As part of a promotional cycle, this card features updated frame treatments consistent with the aesthetic standards of the modern Magic: The Gathering era, serving as both a functional tool for competitive players and a collectible variant for those interested in the post-Phyrexian invasion storyline.
