Rafiki with Simba (Diamond Collection)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney line, this figure captures the iconic scene from the 1994 film The Lion King where the mandrill Rafiki presents the newborn Simba atop Pride Rock. The figure was produced as a Diamond Collection edition, a special variant series characterized by a glittery, shimmering finish applied to the vinyl mold to provide a distinct, premium aesthetic compared to the standard releases.

The design draws directly from the animation style of Disney’s Renaissance era, focusing on the expressive posture of Rafiki holding the cub aloft. As part of the broader Pop! Disney collection, the item was intended for both general collectors and fans of the film franchise, aiming to translate a cinematic milestone into the recognizable Funko stylized form. It was received by the community as a decorative iteration of the core character design, appealing specifically to those who favor the tactile, visual interest provided by the Diamond Collection treatment.
