Provenance

Where it came from

Consider was originally released in the 2021 set Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. It functions as a powerful blue instant spell that allows a player to surveil 1 before drawing a card, providing essential graveyard setup and deck manipulation. The card quickly became a staple in various formats, including Modern and Commander, due to its low mana cost and high utility for graveyard-focused strategies.

The version included in Ravnica: Clue Edition, marked as collector number 84, features thematic art reflecting the crossover between Magic: The Gathering and the classic mystery board game Clue. This printing maintains the original mechanical functionality while updating the aesthetic to suit the Ravnica-inspired setting of the collaborative expansion, where players act as detectives solving a murder mystery within the city of guilds.
