Where it came from
Consider was originally released in the 2021 Magic: The Gathering expansion, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. It was designed as an efficient blue instant for the 'surveil' mechanic, allowing players to filter their deck while potentially setting up graveyard synergies. The card became a staple in various constructed formats, particularly those where managing the top of the deck is critical for tempo and resource consistency.
The art for this specific printing, found within the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander product line, continues the aesthetic evolution of the spell. Like many cards included in Commander-focused releases, this version serves to integrate existing mechanics into the multiplayer format, offering players reliable deck manipulation tools that fit the strategic demands of the 100-card singleton style.
