Myriad Landscape

Myriad Landscape was originally introduced in the Commander 2014 card set, designed as a utility land to help decks ramp their mana base. It emerged from a period in Magic: The Gathering history where Wizards of the Coast was focused on creating accessible, non-basic land options that supported multi-color strategies and provided late-game value for the popular Commander format. The card's ability to sacrifice itself to search for two basic lands of the same type became a staple for deck builders looking to fix their mana while thinning their libraries.

The version included in the Fallout expansion features thematic art that integrates the desolate, sprawling aesthetics of the video game franchise. Like its counterparts in the set, the design aims to evoke the feeling of post-nuclear exploration. It was received as a functional, necessary reprint, praised by players for maintaining the mechanical identity of the original while seamlessly fitting the visual world-building established by the Fallout collaboration.
