Myriad Landscape

Myriad Landscape was originally introduced to the Magic: The Gathering card game in the Commander 2014 set, designed as a utility land that rewards players for waiting to activate its ability. The card was conceptualized by the game's design team to provide non-green decks with a reliable way to ramp their mana base, functioning as a colorless land that can be sacrificed to search for two basic lands of the same type. This specific version, featuring the Zendikar Rising Commander branding, reflects the card's status as a staple utility piece that has been reprinted multiple times due to its high utility in multiplayer formats.

The artwork for this iteration was created by artist Cliff Childs, who has contributed numerous illustrations to the game's expansive library. The visual direction focuses on the vast, untamed nature of the Zendikar plane, emphasizing the themes of exploration and terrain manipulation inherent in the set's identity. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the player base for its strategic versatility, becoming a frequent inclusion in commander decks that require consistent color fixing and board presence without relying on green-aligned mana acceleration.
