Myriad Landscape

Myriad Landscape was originally introduced in the Commander 2014 set as a utility land designed to provide mana ramp to decks that otherwise struggled with land acceleration. The card allows a player to sacrifice it to search for two basic lands of the same type, effectively thinning the deck and ensuring mana consistency in the mid-to-late game. Its design reflects the strategic needs of the Commander format, where players often require reliable ways to catch up in board state without relying solely on color-specific spells.

The version from March of the Machine Commander, featuring collector number 416, serves as a recurring reprint of this functional staple. The card’s visual design focuses on the expansive, ethereal nature of a shifting terrain, illustrating the 'myriad' aspect of its function. Because of its flexibility and ability to fit into nearly any multicolor deck, it remains one of the most widely played utility lands in the format, consistently praised by players for its utility in color-fixing and deck thinning.
