Myriad Landscape

Myriad Landscape was originally introduced in the Commander 2014 supplemental set, designed by Wizards of the Coast to expand the format’s unique gameplay needs. As a land card, it was crafted to provide players with a reliable, albeit slow, method of color fixing and ramp, allowing them to search their library for two basic lands of the same type at the cost of sacrificing the land itself. The card reflects the mechanical philosophy of multiplayer-focused design, where resource management and late-game consistency are prioritized over the lightning-fast efficiency seen in competitive dueling formats.

The artwork for this version was commissioned from illustrator Richard Wright, whose style often leans into atmospheric and expansive fantasy vistas. Wright’s depiction captures the sense of an infinite, folding horizon, aiming to visualize the land's utility in shaping a player’s mana base. Since its inception, the card has become a staple in budget-conscious and casual Commander decks, leading to its inclusion in 'The List'—a rotating pool of reprints inserted into Set Boosters—where it serves as a functional and accessible tool for players looking to broaden their deck-building capabilities.
