What it does
Flying; banding (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)
Before a woman marries in the village of Sursi, she must visit the land of the Mesa Pegasus. Legend has it that if the woman is pure of heart and her love is true, a Mesa Pegasus will appear, blessing her family with long life and good fortune.

Where it came from
The Mesa Pegasus card originates from the 1994 Summer Magic set, also referred to as the Edgar set. Produced by Wizards of the Coast, this release was a limited print run specifically designed for the Spanish-speaking market, intended to address the growing global interest in Magic: The Gathering. These cards were distributed primarily in summer camps and promotional events, which has contributed to their distinct status within the game's broader history.
The card features artwork by artist Anson Maddocks, who was a foundational contributor to the game's early visual identity. His illustration for the Pegasus captures the classic fantasy aesthetic that defined the mid-1990s era of the game. While the mechanics of the card are identical to the Pegasus found in the Alpha and Beta sets, the Summer Magic version is distinguished by its specific white-bordered printing and the inclusion of the set's unique distribution history, making it a sought-after piece for dedicated historical collectors.
