What it does
Flying; banding (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)
Before a woman marries in the village of Sursi, she must visit the land of the Mesa Pegasus. Legend has it that if the woman is pure of heart and her love is true, a Mesa Pegasus will appear, blessing her family with long life and good fortune.

Where it came from
The Mesa Pegasus card, originating from the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Magic: The Gathering trading card game, serves as a commemorative reprinting of a classic creature card first introduced in the game's earliest sets. Released in 2022 to celebrate three decades of the franchise, this edition focuses on curating iconic cards from the game's history, often featuring updated frames or special foil treatments that appeal to both long-time players and collectors interested in the evolution of the game's aesthetic identity.
The original art and design of the Mesa Pegasus have become synonymous with the early White mana color identity, emphasizing small, efficient flying creatures. By including this card in the 30th Anniversary set, the developers intended to bridge the gap between the game's foundational 1993 roots and the modern era of organized play. The card is well-regarded for its nostalgic value, representing a simpler time in the game's mechanics while benefiting from the refined printing standards and high-quality card stock associated with modern collectible releases.
