Provenance

Where it came from

The Zombie token from the Foundations Commander set was released by Wizards of the Coast as a utility card for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. These tokens represent creature permanents created by various spells and abilities within the game, serving as a physical placeholder on the battlefield during gameplay sessions.

The design of these tokens is created by the internal art direction team at Wizards of the Coast, often utilizing a rotation of freelance illustrators to provide fresh visual interpretations of the game's iconic creatures. This specific iteration is designed to align with the visual identity and aesthetic standards of the Foundations set, ensuring that players have a distinct, readable, and thematic representation for their deck-building needs.
