Reliquary Tower

Reliquary Tower was originally introduced in the 2008 Magic: The Gathering set Eventide. It was designed as a utility land that allows players to bypass the standard hand-size limit, providing a mechanical advantage for decks that prioritize card draw. The card quickly became a staple in the Commander format, where the ability to hold a massive hand is highly valued, leading Wizards of the Coast to reprint the card in various specialty products over the following years.

This specific iteration is part of a Secret Lair drop, a series of curated, limited-release sets characterized by unique, often experimental art styles. By commissioning distinct artistic interpretations for these drops, the developers aim to cater to players who treat cards as collectible pieces of visual art. This version was selected for the drop to serve as both a functional deck necessity and a visually distinct centerpiece for players looking to customize their collections with premium aesthetics.
