Forest

The Forest card, designated as collector number 310 within the Commander Anthology set released in 2017, serves as a fundamental land card within the Magic: The Gathering ecosystem. This specific anthology was designed by Wizards of the Coast as a curated compilation, bringing together four iconic preconstructed Commander decks from previous years into a single, cohesive product. It was created to provide both new and veteran players with accessible, high-value staples and strategies that had become difficult to acquire individually on the secondary market.

The visual identity of this card continues the tradition of atmospheric landscape art inherent to the game's nature-aligned mana sources. As part of a larger set collection, the artwork was selected to maintain the stylistic continuity of the Commander format’s high-fantasy aesthetic. Upon its release, the Anthology was well-received by the player base for its utility and the inclusion of sought-after cards, solidifying its place as a practical, utilitarian addition to any Commander player's toolkit rather than a specialized artistic variant.
