The Summer Magic set, colloquially known as Edgar, was a print run of the Magic: The Gathering Revised Edition released in 1994. It was intended to correct printing errors found in previous iterations, such as washed-out colors and incorrect card text. However, the print run itself contained significant errors, including miscolored frames and card text, leading Wizards of the Coast to recall and attempt to destroy the majority of the stock. A small number of these cards reached the market, making them highly sought-after artifacts of early trading card history.

This specific Island features the ethereal, minimalist landscape illustration by Mark Poole, a hallmark artist of the game's early years.
